THE RIGHTEOUS RESURRECTED PEOPLE WILL NOT BE JUDGED IN THE FUTURE EARTHLY PARADISE
“Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment”
(John 5:28,29)
Jesus Christ gave us information regarding the earthly resurrections there will be two kinds: A resurrection of life for the righteous, and a resurrection of judgment for the unrighteous: “I have hope toward God, which hope these men also look forward to, that there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous” (Acts 24:15).
Nevertheless, the logical question is this: if the dead would not be judged on their past actions, but on those, of obedience or not, to the new divine instructions (new scrolls), in the earthly paradise, consequently, this interpretation seems to contradict the statements of Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul, regarding the resurrection of Righteous and Unrighteous, because they will be selected in two categories, Righteous and Unrighteous, according their conduct of their past life.
Concerning the mercy of God, the Bible makes the difference between, on the one hand, the fact that God forgives definitively the sins of a guilty person, thus allowing to live, or to be resurrected in the future, without removing the consequences of his actions (right or wrong), on the other hand. Let us take a concrete biblical example: the serious sins of King David, especially with Bath Sheba (2 Samuel 12:1-14).
His serious sins have been fully forgiven, which enabled King David and Bath Sheba to be kept alive. Nevertheless, Jehovah God has made David and Bath Sheba assume the consequences of these serious sins: The death of the little child, result of their adulterous conduct, and terrible events that would seriously affect King David and his family (2 Samuel 12:10-12). In addition to these consequences, the fact that Jehovah God has made these shameful acts of King David written in his Word, the Bible. So, when David will rise again, in the earthly paradise, he will also have to explain himself with the former deceived and murdered husband, Uriah resurrected (As Example for Us (Romans 15:4) (The Biblical Teaching)).
It will be applied the same process of Divine Mercy to the resurrected dead: The complete forgiveness of the sins of the past life in connection with the atonement law, the death erases their former sinful condition inherited from Adam (Romans 5:12; 6:23). The Mercy of God will allow applying the blessings of the Ransom (from Christ's Sacrifice), the resurrection of the dead, righteous and unrighteous (Acts 24:15).
Nevertheless, the expressions Righteous and Unrighteous clearly indicate that the reputation, good or bad, of their actions of the former life of the resurrected dead will follow them. Let us take positive examples of future faithful biblical characters who will be resurrected on Earth, in Hebrews 11: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham, Sarah, Jacob, Joseph, Moses… It is obvious that these Risen Ones will have the resurrection of Life and their good reputation inherited from their past good deeds will follow them for the eternity into the Earthly Paradise.
As for the unrighteous, the reputation of their past actions will follow them in the time of their judgment. If their judgment will bring them, at end, to everlasting life, this former reputation will disappear with the eternity by the effects of their good deeds done in the Earthly Paradise. For example, returning to Hebrews 11 and 12, regarding Jacob's twin brother, Esau is described as a man without spirituality (Hebrews 12:16). It is obvious that at the resurrection of the unrighteous, Esau will have to prove himself in order to make forget his former reputation.
How to understand that the Righteous Resurrected will not be judged, while it is written in the Book of Revelation, that all the dead will be judged on the basis of the new scrolls?
“And I saw a great white throne and the One seated on it. (..)And I saw the dead, the great and the small, standing before the throne, and scrolls were opened. But another scroll was opened; it is the scroll of life. The dead were judged out of those things written in the scrolls according to their deeds” (Revelation 20:11,12). Obviously, it is written in this biblical text that all the resurrected will be "judged" on the basis of these new scrolls.
On the other hand, Jesus Christ and the Apostle Paul, under inspiration, taught that the Righteous will not be judged in their resurrection, they will directly inherit everlasting life on Earth: “Most truly I say to you, whoever hears my word and believes the One who sent me has everlasting life, and he does not come into judgment but has passed over from death to life” (John 5:24).
The Apostle Paul, used the expression of “better resurrection”: “Women received their dead by resurrection; but other [men] were tortured because they would not accept release by some ransom, in order that they might attain a better resurrection” (Hebrews 11:35). Understandably, that of this "Better Resurrection", will lead to everlasting life, unlike that which occurred in the past, and whose resurrected ones died again due to the consequences of the sin inherited from Adam (1 Kings 17 22, 2 Kings 4:34, Romans 5: 12).
The prophetic narrative of Revelation 20: 11-15 is a global description, in the framework of the general purpose of the worldwide resurrection: The judgment of the whole world population, up to at the end of 1000 years. This understanding is to put into perspective with the description of a future world judgment, made by Jesus Christ in Matthew: “Jesus said to them: “Truly I say to you, in the re-creation, when the Son of man sits down on his glorious throne, you who have followed me will sit on 12 thrones, judging the 12 tribes of Israel”” (Matthew 19:28). Moreover, the Righteous Ones will be under the new divine requirements written in the New Scrolls, like the Unrighteous. In this sense, the Righteous Ones will be under the administration of this world "judgment".
In the Bible the words, "Judge" or "Judgment" have the meaning of "examining" a person: “However, the spiritual man examines all things, but he himself is not examined (Greek: “anacrino”) by any man” (1 Corinthians 2:15). In that case, the Righteous Ones “will not be examined” (Greek: “anacrino”, “not judged”), in an individual way. Their name will be written directly in the Scroll of Life (Revelation 20:12 compare with what Jesus Christ said, in Mark 12:26,27, regarding “Abraham, Isaac and Jacob”, they are “alive” in the Eyes of God).
While the Unrighteous Ones will be "examined", "judged" before to have their names written in the Scroll of Life, in the best way (Revelation 20: 11-15). According to the Bible, the word "judging" can also have the general meaning of "governing, administering" a nation, in the same way of the meaning the words of Christ in Matthew 19: 28 and the description of Revelation 20:4,11-15 (Judges 12:8-13).
