“And I will certainly magnify myself and sanctify myself and make myself known before the eyes of many nations;

and they will have to know that I am Jehovah”

(Ezekiel 38:23)

THE END OF PATRIOTISM

Jesus Christ prophesied the end of this system of things (Matthew 24:14, Mark 13:10). Why will Jehovah God put end to the human domination? Because He has set a time for nations to exercise their sovereignty (without God) and it comes to end (Tishri (Ethanim) 10th). This period lasted for thousands of years. God has waited patiently for humans to establish, throughout the Earth, according to their claims, an administration that would ensure peace and lasting security for all. The facts have demonstrated and continue to demonstrate that they have been unable to do so (see Genesis 3 and Jeremiah 10:23). The Bible directly announces the end and the destruction by the Heavenly Kingdom of God, of all current human governments, with their corresponding patriotic denominations: "In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom that will never be destroyed. And this kingdom will not be passed on to any other people. It will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, and it alone will stand forever" (Daniel 2:44, Luke 21:24 "the appointed times of the nations") (The Earthly Administration of the Kingdom of God).

"And I saw a wild beast ascending out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten diadems"

(Revelation 13:1)

In the Bible, human governments are compared with wild beasts because their domination, all along history and now, have shed much innocent blood (Daniel chapters 7 and 8, Revelation chapter 13 and 17: the description of the cruel acts of wild beasts that symbolize human sovereignty throughout history to the present day): "And I saw a wild beast ascending out of the sea, with ten horns and seven heads, and on its horns ten diadems, but on its heads blasphemous names" (Revelation 13: 1).

The "blasphemous names" on the seven heads of the wild beast, represent the patriotic names of the nations (Fatherland: pater in Latin: "father" in English). These "fatherlands" are worshiped instead of God, by flags or patriotic hymns: "Moreover, do not call anyone your father on earth, for one is your Father, the heavenly One" (Matthew 23 : 9). Human sacrifices have been made in the name of the fatherland in many wars, resulting in hundreds of millions of deaths. God can not ignore such blood guilt. This act of worship to the homeland (accompanied by millions of human sacrifices for it (the monuments to the dead bear witness to this)), represents the "mark of the wild beast", according to the book of Revelation: "If anyone worships the wild beast and its image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink of the wine of the anger of God that is poured out undiluted into the cup of His wrath" (Revelation 13: 16-18; 14: 9-12). Anyone who has this mark will not get everlasting life. Any mention of these patriotic "blasphemous names" will disappear forever.

“Amen! Come, Lord Jesus”

God will take back the sovereignty on Earth, with tremendous power, during the great tribulation, because it belongs to Him:

"We thank you, Jehovah God, the Almighty, the one who is and who was, because you have taken your great power and begun ruling as king. But the nations became wrathful, and your own wrath came, and the appointed time came for the dead to be judged and to reward your slaves the prophets and the holy ones and those fearing your name, the small and the great, and to bring to ruin those ruining the earth" (Revelation 11: 17,18).

Jehovah God established His Son Jesus Christ as Heavenly King in 1914 and it has been proclaimed by the preaching of the Good News for over 100 years (Matthew 24:14). Nevertheless, nations have responded with scorn and anger to this heavenly enthronement. However, Psalm 2 explains prophetically what will happen to all present nations:

“Why are the nations agitated

And the peoples muttering an empty thing?

The kings of the earth take their stand

And high officials gather together as one

Against Jehovah and against his anointed one.

They say: “Let us tear off their shackles

And throw off their ropes!”

The One enthroned in the heavens will laugh;

Jehovah will scoff at them.

At that time he will speak to them in his anger

And terrify them in his burning anger,

Saying: “I myself have installed my king

On Zion, my holy mountain.”

Let me proclaim the decree of Jehovah;

He said to me: “You are my son;

Today I have become your father.

Ask of me, and I will give nations as your inheritance

And the ends of the earth as your possession.

You will break them with an iron scepter,

And you will smash them like a piece of pottery.”

So now, you kings, show insight;

Accept correction, you judges of the earth.

Serve Jehovah with fear,

And rejoice with trembling.

Honor the son, or God will become indignant

And you will perish from the way,

For His anger flares up quickly.

Happy are all those taking refuge in Him”

(Psalms 2)

This Psalm orders all rulers, "kings" and "princes" of this world, to be "insightful" and to accept to be humbly "corrected" by this fearsome Heavenly King, while there is still time, because "His anger flares up quickly" (The Biblical Teaching). For those who do not believe what it is written that they will be smashed forever like a pottery of clay with the iron scepter of heavenly kingship. They will be broken "without hand": "He will even stand up against the Prince of princes, but he will be broken without human hand" (Daniel 8:25). For those who have faith in this biblical statement, Jesus Christ, the God-anointed king, invites you to show practical wisdom in the following way: "Or what king marching out against another king in war does not first sit down and take counsel whether he is able with 10,000 troops to stand up to the one who comes against him with 20,000? If, in fact, he cannot do so, then while that one is yet far away, he sends out a body of ambassadors and sues for peace" (Luke 14:31,32). Make peace with this fearsome King and submit to him unconditionally. Beware of thinking that this simple biblical statement is only a "foolishness" of which it is by no means appropriate to pay the slightest attention: “For it is written: “I will make the wisdom of the wise men perish, and the intelligence of the intellectuals I will reject.” Where is the wise man? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this system of things? Has not God made the wisdom of the world foolish? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not get to know God through its wisdom, God was pleased through the foolishness of what is preached to save those believing” (1 Corinthians 1:19-21).

Jehovah God announces that on the day of his "Great Day" He will bring down all that is haughty: “I will call the inhabited earth to account for its badness, And the wicked for their error. I will put an end to the pride of the presumptuous, And I will humble the haughtiness of tyrants” (Isaiah 13:11).

“The one who bears witness of these things says, ‘Yes, I am coming quickly.’”

“Amen! Come, Lord Jesus”

May the undeserved kindness of the Lord Jesus be with the holy ones”

(Revelation 22:20,21)
